Karel
the Robot From the site on Karel the Robot by David Barnett: Karel the Robot is a Pascal like programming language created by Prof. Richard Pattis (Department of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University). However this programming language is not concerned with computing expressions and assigning values to variables. Rather each program has a robot execute a task. This book, owned by the Stanford University Computer Science Dept, harkens to Donald Knuth's earlier "The Art of Computer Programming" series. Know anything more about "Karel"? Please contact us. |
