Digibarn Events: Summer Open House Well, the heat had finally broken (115F last week!) and so the first of our Summer open houses happened with thankfully normal summery weather. We had a good crowd (20-25 people) who showed up throughout the afternoon and I gave continuous tours of both the weird stuff here at the farm and of the museum itself. We completed the say with a trip to the Boulder Creek Brewery for a good time for a half doze of the touristas. Old friends Bill and Linda showed up for a tour just before they head off to Ireland for whole new lives. Several wonderful Xerox PARC people were there and also a lovely couple, Severo Orstein and Laura Gould who both go way back with way interesting stuff (I paid them a visit later that week at their home up on Skyline). |
